Samuel Culbertson Van Leer married, second, 1892 Leona Paxton of Mangum. Died 11/13/1936 in Hot Springs, Arkansas where he was a doctor.

12. Ava Van Leer. (2) Born 10/5/1886, Durham, N.C. Married, first, Walter E. Lusby, who died 4/20/1913. Married, second, Dr. W. H. Deaderick (born 2/7/1877, Knoxville, Tennessee.) He was the great-grandson of Col. David Deaderick of the general staff of Gen. Washington.
13. Kenyon Van Leer Lusby. (1) Born 1/18/1908. Died 6/12/1934. Married 10/1926, Thelma Strock.
12. Bradford Paxton Van Leer. (3) Born 9/3/1893. Died 1899.
